I should clarify that solidarity is the most important thing in
making these decisions. If many members of the network absolutely
refuse to take this money, then they have spoken and that is all
their is to this issue. I am fine with that, although we may
disagree about the underlying politics. But now is the time for
debate and honest discussion, which i have tried to write about.

I don't think there is much, if any, real political differences
between the chumbawamba example and the Ford Foundation one. The
main difference is the political fallout of PERCEPTIONS amongst
different people (and i do recognize that this is very important)
but the underlying rational is the same.

if we were asked by chumbawamba to take more money, i would say yes
again...
