[Imc-finance] Response to Proposal 2003-July17, the (Saint-Louis video machine idea)

Finance buys the machine.

Saint Louis IMC [STLIMC] collective produce their shows, (collect funds from
audiance),
and,
that the Saint Louis IMC [STLIMC] collective, use those funds to buy a new
machine.

The "new" machine,
should then go,
to a 'simular' project,
in another city.

Why can't "IMC-finance" buy assets.....

and use those "assets" to raze more money...?

Saint Louis-IMC seems to see, some kind of "value" in producing the show.

(My thought is a roving-road-show, screening those video's in cities like
mine.)

& eventually in the "global-south".

Maybe, some of these selfish 'northern-oriented projects,

can in fact be used as a pretext to hosting simular events,

in the "global-south".  (like a "film-feast")

THE POINT BEING:  more money and reasorce needs to flow south,
because the sitution is NOT the same as it is here.
(simple internet conection is a costly venture)

Buy the machine....

Use it to make "money".

(ya, and use OUR-OWN money, to set-up the all "activist" network infra
structure" we needed.)

Forget about the notition of "banking" as we know it.....!

Use the thing to get what we-need to do,

that is,

 to do things, that we do so well,

in the ways we've been doing them all along.....!
