Proyecto por la Memoria Digna

Proyecto Audio-Visual para el rescate de la memoria
colectiva a raíz de los 20-10 años de la lucha
Zapatista.

Somos un colectivo de personas colaborando con el
Centro de Medios Independientes de San Cristóbal de
las Casas, Chiapas involucrados en apoyo al movimiento
zapatista, reunidos con el objetivo de realizar una
recopilación de experiencias y reflexiones a raíz del
10mo. Aniversario del levantamiento zapatista.

Hemos elaborado una propuesta de rescate de la memoria
colectiva con el fin de propiciar la reflexión de la
población mexicana y la población en general sobre el
proceso del movimiento indígena zapatista en su
búsqueda por la justicia y dignidad a través de la
construcción de la autonomía.

Mediante este proyecto tenemos la intención de generar
un diálogo que transmita estas experiencias personales
en forma de opiniones, anécdotas, sentimientos y
memorias de eventos. Proponemos generar este diálogo a
través de un documental audio-visual (con entrevistas,
fotos, texto, audio y otras imágenes). Con esta
propuesta buscamos recopilar las reflexiones y
memorias personales de los que han participado de
distintas formas en este movimiento, principalmente
los que han participado fuera de la luz pública.

Para facilitar la recolección de material hemos
dividido estos 10-20 años de lucha zapatista en las
siguientes etapas:
1)	La gestación, antes de 1994,
2)	El levantamiento y los primeros 12 días de guerra,
3)	Encuentros con la sociedad civil, diálogos y
rupturas con el gobierno –marzo 1994 a rompimiento del
diálogo en enero 1997-,
4)	El silencio –enero 1997 a diciembre 2000-,
5)	El rechazo a la ley indígena y la autonomía en los
hechos (La Marcha por la Dignidad a agosto, 2003),
6)	Nacimiento de los Caracoles y las Juntas de Buen
Gobierno,
7)	El Futuro, ¿qué queremos, soñamos, esperamos hacia
el futuro?.  

Proponemos que las entrevistas se realicen con
personas que han tenido diferentes tipos de
participación en distintos momentos a lo largo de esta
década con el fin de retratar diversos sectores de la
población y además la percepción de la gente que le ha
tocado ser testigo de algún evento específico durante
este proceso. 

Con el material que juntemos vamos a tener mucha
chamba para organizarlo y editarlo – en el caso del
audio-, por eso hemos puesto como fecha límite para
recibir aportes hasta el día 20 de diciembre. Esto es
muy importante para poder distribuir este material
antes del primero de enero en los barrios y otros
espacios populares en San Cristóbal de las Casas.
Además tenemos el interés de subir este material a
internet para que esté a la disposición del pueblo en
general y que grupos interesados en conmemorar el
aniversario 20-10 del EZLN lo puedan usar en sus
respectivas celebraciones.

El producto final, un archivo flash de fotografías,
imágenes de los últimos diez años, entrevistas y audio
de archivo, será presentado en los barrios populares
en espacios públicos con proyector antes del primero
de enero.  También la memoria será distribuida a los
cinco Carcoles dentro del territorio Zapatista para
poder proyectar en las comunidades autónomas.  La
memoria será disponible para bajar del web en el sitio
de Indymedia Chiapas para el uso y distribución de
toda gente que expresa interés en el movimiento
Zapatista. 
  
El colectivo calcula que el proyecto requerirá hasta
$579.00USD para realizar este proyecto.  Proveamos los
siguientes gastos:  $79 para 50 VHS cassettes, $27
para 100 CD’s para copias de distribución y respaldos,
$42 para cartuchos de impresora para imprimir hojas
para los CD, $45 para transporte a las entrevistas o
para reembolsar los entrevistados que gastan en llegar
(10 entrevistas, $4.50 cada una), $22 para el costo de
internet (30 hours) $35 para el uso de luz en la
oficina de Indymedia y $329 para 5 presentaciones (@
$13.50/ presentación) en cada una de los 5 Caracoles.
Estas figuras fueran calculados utilizando el tipo de
cambio de 11.4 pesos al dólar.
