The problem is we need this money REALLY fast. We need to pay for the
building and for the computers until monday. And from what I was told,
through WU we can get this money in 24h. Now, if it is true, we just need to
know how much they charge. Is it a fixed amount or is it a percentage like
Frank said? If they charge 15%, then of course we will prefer to receive it
through a bank account even if it takes a little longer to get here.

Miguel is trying to contact WU local office here in Brazil but if you (or
anyone on the lists) have this kind of information for sure, than, please,
let us know.

Currently we have three main options:
1) Evan takes the money to Uruguay and Nikito and others bring the money to
Brazil on sunday (jan 19);
2) We get the money in 24h through WU (if they charge a fixed fee and not a
ridiculously high percentage from what is been sent);
3) We get the money through a bank account and try to pay part of the costs
with what is left from the plata latina (not much and not nearly enough)
while we wait for the money to get here.

Yeah, I understand your situation.

When we wrote the proposal we thought that it would be confusing for the
imc-finance members to have to convert all the costs from reais to dollars.
So we decided to convert all the values using the most recent convertion
rate (from jan 03, the day the proposal was sent). And even having included
a P.S. about this currency fluctuation on the proposal, I can understand why
you cannot send us more money than it was agreed upon.

Normally I would suggest to continue the discussion on imc-finance, to see
if we could get the funding with today's convertion rate, but unfortunately
we can't afford to spend any more time discussing the proposal. We would
rather receive a little less money than we need than have to wait for this
"attachment" to be approved.

Let the US$3,630 + US$860 be wired then.
