I agree that the e-mail sent by IMC Italy as raising several concerns.  I
also saw that St. Louis IMC sent a response to the Finance list.  Raising
concerns is part of the process, but has not historically been considered
a block of the proposal.  If there are aspects of the proposal that IMC
Italy feels need to be changed (i.e., that IMC Italy would block the
proposal), then IMC Italy should send in a counter-proposal to the list so
that IMC St.  Louis can respond to the suggestions.

As we haven't heard any concerns from IMC St. Louis about extending the
discussion period, the new decision-deadline is set for October 23, 2003
at Noon GMT.  I believe we are currently waiting on St. Louis IMC to
respond to both CMI Brasil's concerns and IMC Italy's e-mail.
