[Imc-finance] Intro

hello 

I'm Br from melbourne indymedia in australia.  I think and(at)antimedia.net is
already on this list from our imc.  but he's OS.  so I'm going to be the melb
correspondent from now on.  I've been doing stuff with melb indy for ages,
geeking and writing and picture taking and tutoring.  I want more flash + video
on melbourne indymedia and so do quite a few other people in au.  My particular
vision is to produce funny animated history dramatisations, and interview driven
alt-educational shorts inspired by gnn, matt stone's 'short history of america',
waking life, and some local stuff, baring the imc logo.  

I feel like Melbourne IMC has seen the best and worst faces of indymedia, with
excellent coverage of events like Woomera 2002 on one hand and suffering abuse
from the obsessions of half-deranged individuals on the other.  (I'm sure every
IMC probably has these extremes.)  I'm still enthused, but. 

Melbourne has had no physical location for several months now.  We want to
co-habitate and colaborate with some independent video producers.  So I'm going
to ask for some money just to get us started.
