[Imc-finance] ***PENDING*** Proposal 2003-J: request from IMC St. Louis for $2144 loan. NO DECISION DEADLINE DATE.

Hi all,

As far as I know, the St. Louis proposal for a $2144 loan is currently the
only active funding request.  St. Louis plans to formulate a new proposal
that addresses the concerns raised and will bring it back to this list
when they are ready.  If the new proposal is not sent to the list within
the next month I'll change this proposal's status to "suspended".

Over the past month, there have been several suggestions and concerns
raised about the existing funding disbursement process:

If folks recall, Sheri and I coordinated the set-up of the current process
-- which was adopted by the finance working group in July 2002.  It was
always intended to be an initial step -- and can certainly be modified,
improved, thrown out, etc.  Given the relative quite on the list, I think
now would be a very opportune time for us to think about ways to improve
the process.
