here you have our budget proposal for Indymedia Poland,

NEW PROPOSAL FOR THE BUDGET OF THE POLISH IMC FOR THE TIME OF THE 
ANTI-EEF PROTESTS.

1. Why a new budget?

In the time of writing our application to you, we also sent an 
application to the xminy foundation from Amsterdam. They support 
financially non - formal groups, such as ours. They accepted our 
application, which was for space for the indymedia, some of the 
leaflets and newspaper. We still did not get the money from the 
xminy, but we belive we will. So - we do not need any imc-finance 
donation for the imc information centre and leaflets. Of course, we 
did not apply for money for work done for the indymedia, just for the 
things/spaces.

The xminy decided to send us appr 1550 euro, for which we applied. We 
haven't received the money yet.

2. What we need money for now?

The installation of the internet for the imc - space. It will be much 
more expensive than we thought. It turned up that the buliding part 
of which we are going to rent doesn't have required wiring and 
infrastructure. Its instalation will almost triple the costs of 
internet connection. We've checked several cheapest internet 
providers - they ask about 2000 PLN instead of the 700 we were 
informed it would  cost. We are supposed to receive 700 PLN from 
XminY for that. We would like to ask you for the remaining 1300 PLN 
(= 260euro). The resources we have are not sufficient to pay for it.
Without internet our work during the protests will not be possible.

We need to provide accomodation for imcistas from other countries. We 
have organized several places to sleep in private homes and places 
but it won't meet all needs. We hoped that some people can be 
accomodated in places arranged by organizers of protests but they 
have big financial problems themselves and cannot help us - there is 
going to be big problem with lodging in Warsaw. We won't receive any 
money for the accomodation of IMC volunteers from XminY. We would 
like to ask you for some resources for the purpose (we would like to 
rent one big space). We are now negotiationg one space for appr. 100 
euro (500PLN).

All the  costs are now 360 euro:
-internet       260 euro
-accomodation   100 euro  

If you have any questions regarding our application we are ready to 
answer them. We hope that you will accept the fact that we tried to 
apply in other place too.
