[Imc-finance] financial support for sending computers to mexico

hi, 
i'm currently helping try to get some computers down to mexico for the
mobilization against the Latin American and Caribbean-European Union Summit
in Guadalajara on the 28th and 29th of May, as well as for long term media
projects.  

there is a possiblility that we will recieve a donation of 30 computers. in
which case we would need funds to ship them. but, since the date is so
close, it is unlikely that we will get these computers in time. in which
case we will be trying to get no less than five computers to guadalajara for
the mobilization, for which we will need financial aid, and continue seeking
finance for the 30 other computers that will be used in long term media
projects in mexico. 

i'm not sure what the process is for requesting funds, so this is just a
check in. maybe after i get some feed back from someone on this list, i can
work out a more formal proposal with the other groups involved. these
include,principaly, people from indymedia chiapas, a video activism group in
mexico, aire, and the folks organizing the indymedia center in guadalajara.
