Hi all,

I just wanted to clarify what is currently in our global account.  As of
the last reconciliation (through December 31, 2003), we had roughly
$21,000 in our account -- this is the high end of what is available.
However there are several allocations that still need to be accounted for,
and at least one donor check that didn't go through (and we are tracking
down right now).  Thus, as a conservative estimate, I mentioned that we
might have as low as $15,000 in actual funds available (which is where
the other number came from).

Either way, when I took over as treasurer a couple years back, we had
closer to $50,000 -- while we do get the occasional personal donation,
our account has been heading steadily towards zero for years.  Thus, I
support any initiative to raise additional funding for the global network.
