[Imc-finance] Request for Computer Funding for IMC Beirut

IMC Uruguay had the week meeting yesterday and we talked a lot of global finance
and money. I will send more emails about it.

globales y el dinero.

Sobre el pedido para computadoras de Beirut decimos:

La situación actual de las finanzas globales es tensa y preocupante, solamente
quedan 15.000 dólares para una red mundial en constante crecimiento y con muchas
necesidades y proyectos.

Pedimos, con respeto, a los hermanos y hermanas de Indymedia Beirut si es
posible cambiar su pedido a 2 computadoras, unos $800.

Estamos discutiendo una propuesta a imc-finanzas de que solamente sea posible
pedir montos menores a $1000 (mil dólares). Permitiendo que el dinero sea
repartido en más proyectos y más indymedias locales. Proyectos que necesitan más
dinero que sean presentados a fundaciones y fondos que se dedican a la
financiamiento de proyectos mediáticos.

También sería interesante que la red compartiera contactos de fundaciones
autónomas que se dediquen a financiar emprendimientos de medios independientes.

Now, the situation of the global fund is tense and worry, just has left 15,000
dollars for a world-wide network in constant growth and with many needs and
projects.

We request, in respect, to our brothers and sisters of Indymedia Beirut if it is
possible to change its order to 2 computers, about $800. 


We are discussing a proposal for imc-finance of which it is only possible to
request amounts smaller to $1000 (one thousand dollars).  Allowing which the
money be distributed in more local projects. Projects that need more money can
be presented to Foundations and Funds that are dedicated to the financing of
media projects.

Also,  would be interesting that the network shared contacts of independent
foundations which are dedicated to finance indepentent media works.
