It hasn't been updated yet since we recruited Indymedia organizers, but
take a look.  I'd be happy to answer more specific questions that people
have.  The basic idea is to help support the growth of Indymedia in Africa
through skills-sharing, helping new IMCs to become official, and bringing
media equipment to forming groups.

Back at the end of 2003 we put out a call on several Global Indymedia
lists recruiting volunteers who would be willing to help organize -- IGAP
had modest funding to provide travel stipends for direct travel costs, but
everything else is paid out of pocket by the volunteers.  The remaining
funds for the project will be spent on information dissemination (e.g.,
printing useful information) and media equipment.
