[Imc-finance] IMC Beirut about Dakar

We discussed that we think the Africa conference is a good thing and maybe 
next time we will participate especially if it's in Northafrica. So, we 
agree with the Dakar conference request. 

However, we think fundraising should maybe be done differently. There were 
posts on different indymedia lists asking for funds which is proabbly not 
very efficient, since the people on those lists are activists who don't have 
much money to give. 

We for ourselves thought about ways of raising money for Beirut and we 
believe the best way is to target Lebanese expatriats und thus ask 
indymedias in locations with big Lebanese communities to help us with that. 
Maybe this could be a way to fundraise for African indymedias as well.
