[Imc-finance] re: Dakar

Hi imc-finance,

Hope you're all doing well.

Since I'm not subscribed to this list I haven't been following along with 
the Dakar request every day, but I've been paying attention to the 
archives.  I see there has been a lot of support for the idea of having a 
conference but, of course, many questions about committing so much 
money.  A valliant attempt so far, I would say, and one that I hope has 
raised a lot of positive issues.

I would like to pass along the below update from the imc-africa list to let 
you know that some of the fundraising has been successful.  There are many 
people on their way to Dakar, or are there already.  It's destined to be a 
very positive conference.

Thanks to everyone connected to imc-finance for all of the really essential 
work you all do,
