Posición de Indymedia Uruguay sobre el pedido para la conferencia africana.

Luego de varias reuniones, en un fuerte y difícil debate, el colectivo del CMI
Uruguay decidió reunido en su totalidad, en la noche del lunes 1 de marzo, negar
el pedido de fondos para la conferencia de África. Oficialmente Uruguay bloquea
el pedido.

El CMI Uruguay considera que el pedido de dinero, al ser exactamente la mitad
del total de los fondos globales, impactará negativamente sobre la red.

Pensamos que es un monto excesivo para un gasto que no conoceremos su resultado.
6 pasajes de avión para una conferencia que no tiene urgencia en acontecer.
Confiamos que los asistentes podrán seguir transmitiendo su experiencia a lo
largo del continente por medios más económicos e igual de efectivos.

También consideramos que la presión para que surgan nuevos Indymedias traerá
