[Imc-finance] on the genoa legal fund proposal from italy imc - trying to clarify

i had the chance to talk to a bunch of people after sending the mail
i will try to further clarify some point.

1. the proposal si for global imc fund to support an effort made by italy imc
people to support legal team in genoa in their work towards unveil the evidence
that are being used to convict 25 persons for associative crimes and potentially
MANY more, i this first court case goes shit
this support can be quantified in 2-3 thousands euro, a lot of which could
possibly be returned if we find other source of funding.

2. the proposal is not for paying indymedia work , as rabble was suggesting, but
to pay some people )not all of them indymedia people) for the legal team support
work (nad not actually pay them but cover the expenses they have in their lives,
their food and accomodation in genoa, and the material needed)ù

3. we are possibly looking for other funding, like the money use in court cases
to pay for legal tech support and other anti-rep funding, as well as self
financeing, but times of this money and of the urgency of the task do not
coincide. So we would have dsoe use to have imc money quick and to repay it
later

4. all the way money will bpent will be detailed on line and transparently
accountable

i want to add that i understand the proposal is hazy (for some legitimate
reasons and for shortness of time and energy) and that it was not very clear
what this money would be used for, and so on.
But i also want to stress that i would like perplexity to be addressed as
collectively and trasparently as possible using this mailing list.
I will try to do my best to answer all the questions.

en estos dias yo a tenido muchas discusiones con muchas gente sobre el correo
que envie hace algunos dias en estalista. Voy a ententar de aclarar algunos
puntos.

1. la prpuesta es que el gurpo de finanza global de indymedia pueda apoyar
l'esfuerzo que personas de indymedia italia estan haciendo en aportar al trabajo
del grupo legal de genoa por desvelar las pruevas que se estan usando contra 25
personas y que puedon llegar a condenar MUCHAS MAS personas por crimen
asociativos.
el apoyo puede ser cantificado en 2-3 mil euros. De estos mucho puede ser que
se vuelvan al fondo global si encontramos otros fondos por este trabajo.

2. la propuesta no es por pagar trabajo voluntario como indymedia, como rabble a
enterpretado, sino por pagar el trabajo legal que algunas personas (no todo de
indymedia) van a hacer por el GLF (actualmente pagar gastos fijos que estas
persona tiene en su vida, la comida y la vivienda por los meses que va a estar
en genoa, y los materiales por el trabajo)

3. estamos ententando conseguir otros fondos, como el dinero que en italia se
puede utilizar de la parte de los abogados por pagar olaboratores, fundaciones
contra la represion y autofinanciamento, sino que la velocidad de estos fondos y
del trabajo que se va haciendo son distintos. Asi que tener la plata del fondo
global pronto y volverla despues si posible.

4. todos los fondos van a ser reportado en una pagina publica en forma la mas
transparente posible

quiero agregar que entiendo que la propuesta es un poco rara y no tan clara (por
algunas necessidades legitimas y por la falta de energia y de tiempos) y que no
esta tan claro (a nosotros mismo) la manera en que la plata va a ser utilizada,
y todo esto.
pero quiero agregar tambien que seria bueno que las dudas sean explicitada en
esta lista . Voy a ententar de hacerlo mejor que puedo en contestar todas las
preguntas

in questi giorni ho avuto modo di parlare con parecchia gente circa la proposta
che come indymedia italia abbiamo fatto al fondo globale di indymedia. Cerchero'
quindi di fugare alcuni dubbi.

1. la proposta e' che il gruppo di finanza globale sostenga il lavoro di
appoggio al gruppo legale che come indymedia italia stiamo facendo, per cercare
di smontare le prove che potrebbero costare il carcere e il reato associativo a
25 persone e aprire la strada per MOLTI altri indagati.
L'appoggio si puo' quantificare in 2-3 mila euro, dei quali molti potrebbero
essere restituiti se troveremo altri fondi.

2. la proposta non e' di pagare qualcuno per fare lavoro come volontario di
indymedia, come rabble ha suggerito nellasua mail, ma di pagare alcune persone
(non tutte di indymedia) per fare lavoro di appoggio per il GLF (e neanche per
pagarli , ma per coprire le spese fisse che queste persone hanno tutti i mesi ,
il loro vitto e alloggio a genova e i materiali che necessitano peril lavoro)

3. stiamo cercando altri fondi, come i soldi per le gratutire prestazioni di
tecnici per avvocati o fondi contro la repressione, o anche autofinanziamento,
ma la velocita' con cui potremmo conseguire questi soldi e' piu' lenta della
velocita' con cui questo lavoro va fatto.
Percui sarebbe comodo avere i soldi del fondo global rapidamente e poterli
rendere piu' avanti se possibile.

4. tutti i fondi saranno resocontati pubblicamente su una pagina web, in modo da
poter essere verificabili quanto piu' trasparentemente possible

vorrei aggiungere che comprendo perfettamente che la proposta si aun po' vaga e
pococ chiara (complici alcune necessita' legittime e la mancanza di tempo ed
energie) e che non e' molto chiaro il modo in cui si spenderanno i soldi e cosi'
via.
Ma vorrei anche sottolineare come le perplessita' dovrebbero essere espclicitati
in sede pubblica. Faro' del mio meglio per rispondere a tutti i dubbi.ù
