L'Action Bouclier Humain sera à Paris ce dimanche! 

Les 'Boucliers Humains' arriveront dimanche à Paris,
dans le convoi de bus qui les emmène vers l'Irak. Nous
vous prions, s'il vous plait, de prendre le temps de
venir nous rencontrer a une reception (P-11 sur le
Seine a 12:00 (midi).)

Veuillez notifier tous vos amis opposés à la guerre,
les organisations pour la paix, la presse, la télé
etc. Venez-nombreux et apportez vos drapeaux! 

Si vous pouvez nous aider à organiser les chambres
pour nous le samedi soir, veuillez contacter les
numéros de téléphone ci-dessous. 

Notre convoi partira de Londres samedi, et parcourra
l'Europe, en recouperant les 'boucliers humains' en
route vers l'Irak. Nous arriverons à Bagdad le 8
février, où les volontaires s'installèrent jusqu'à ce
que la menace immédiate de guerre soit passée. Dirigé
par Ken Nichols O'Keefe, ex-fusilier avec les marines
américains et ancien combattant de la guerre du Golfe,
cette action a attiré des volontaires de tous ages et
occupations. On espère envoyer davantage de convois
dans les semaines à venir. Si les fonds le permettent,
il est possible que dans les prochaines actions il
soit question de voyager en avion au lieu de par voie
de terre. 

"La réponse à cette première convoie montre que ce ne
sont pas les gens prêts à s'engager comme boucliers
humains qui nous manque, affirme M. O'Keefe. Les gens
qui s'engagent dans ce convoi sont tous très
différents mais ils ont deux choses en commun- un
courage remarquable, et une conviction absolue que
cette guerre soit injuste. "

The Human Shield Action will be in Paris on Sunday! 

 A convoy of buses carrying human shields to Iraq will
> be in Paris on Sunday. PLEASE try to set aside time
to come out to meet us, at p-11 on the Seine, Sunday,
12 noon. Notify your anti-war friends, groups, the
press: bring your peace flags.  

If you can help to arrange accommodations for us on
Saturday night, please contact the office at the
numbers below. 

Our convoy leaves London on Saturday, and will drive >
through Europe picking-up more human shields en-route.
It will arrive in Baghdad on 8th February where the >
volunteers will stay until the imminent threat of war
> has passed.  

Led by former US Marine and Gulf War veteran, Ken >
Nichols O?Keefe, this action has attracted volunteers
> of all ages and backgrounds. We plan to send further
convoys in coming weeks. If > funding is available,
future actions might involve flying rather than
driving overland. 

“The response to this initial convoy shows that there
is no shortage of people willing to act as shields,”
says Mr O?Keefe. “The people who are coming on this
convoy are all very different but they all have two
things in common. A remarkable courage and an absolute
conviction that this war is wrong.”
