[Imc-france-paris] use of illegal weapons by the police => massive complaint + press release + press conference

Below is a irc log, pasted from tonight's #france at irc.indymedia.org (some 
lines were stripped out).

As a summary, we came out with the idea of a proper international press 
conference organized by the different IMCs in order to give mainstream media 
some information and get feedback about police behaviour around the G8 
(police action at "l'usine", ...).

CS gaz and illegal stick use might end up in a formal massive complaint in 
court.
On the day the complaint is officially filled, the same day in each country, 
let's make a press release, invite national mainstream media at a press 
conference, show them video evidence and tell them about what what happened.

(co-signed by people from VIG and VAAAG), last monday.

targetting of media-centers and activists on the street with heavy wounds

<sebd> what I was thinking about was the movement actions attracts media, but 
we do not know how to deal with them, except ignore them.

<sebd> Maybe daily press conferences from independant media would be usefull 
(next time), and professionnally managed press releases too.

germany we got almost no press coverage on the repression subject and feel 
and some of us feel that something must be done about that maybe 
internationally

we can make a short film about all that. There are enought video evidence to 
attract mainstream media. Since we won't move internationally, what we can do 
is a press conference in each country, but the same day, same time, telling 
the same.

I guess that at least a confernece in berlin is no problem to organize
<sebd> there should be a collective formal complaint (like, with a lawyer) 
about CS gaz and use of illegal stick by the police.
