I moved to this other mailing list (imc-france-tech@lists.indymedia.org) 
because the discussion is getting much more geeky :)
Indyspip does add a new table to the database, it is called spip_op_auteurs 
and it contains information about anonymous authors who published 
open-publishing content (email addresses, nicknames,...).
It doesn't add any BOUCLES/BALISES although it does provide two new filters 
(FILTRES) for the the #ID_ARTICLE tag in the BOUCLE_ARTICLES. They are used 
to get the status of an article (published or proposed) and to get the 
nickname the author chosed when posting the article.
They have been implemented very easily in the mes_fonctions.php3 script and 
you cas easily understand how they work.
Just a hint : [(#ID_ARTICLE|op_auteur)] and [(#ID_ARTICLE|puce_statut)]

The indyspip project is a french project mainly because it is developped by 
french geeks and is based on spip. But I think it would be a good idea to 
internationalise it therefore making it available to many more IMCs and 
websites that wish to have an open-publishing policy... This is my personal 
opinion, we haven't discussed it yet, but if you wished to help us with this 
task I think nobody would mind ! :)
