Dear imc-indialist friends:
Let us walk together, hand in hand...for better times for our =
communities in 2003...
Dear Friend,=20
A new phase of activity starts in our work beginning new year 2003 as a =
new wind of change blowing all over the world necessitates our actions =
to be tuned to cope up new responsibilities for our communities. In our =
humble beginning, we call upon all young and old men and women of this =
country to rise above their petty and narrow approach to contribute a =
bit for the society and to augment a foundation during 2003 that will =
provide millions upon millions of this country to come out of the =
shackles of slavery and manipulations that they have been subjected to =
during last more than five decades of our freedom
It is not surprising that Indian society is facing today many problems =
of corruption, bad governance, poverty, unrest, unemployment, =
environmental dangers, sustainable growth, pollution, peace and harmony =
and many more and the situation in India today presents a spectacle that =
is not at all reassuring for the masses. The menace of increasing =
fanaticism, increasing terrorism and war coupled with deep and abounding =
corruption in all walks of life and manipulative and hiding tactics of =
our state governments and politicians is eroding the basic foundations =
of our society. This,surely is our own creation, born out of our own wit =
and intelligence. Do you think that the talk of terrorism and =
corruption in our country have no hand of the powers that be and =
billions being spent at the cost of subjecting artificial poverty to our =
population has not their concurrence and active help? The "Wrath of =
Heavens" will soon to descend on our country to put insurgent man back =
on the Path if we fail to act collectively to avert this fall and and so =
these dark actions being done by a few are providing a scourge devised =
by human wit to whip the societies to sanity with awful pain, out of the =
drunken state of arrogance.
The politicians are conducting a naked stage dance because they feel and =
know now that people of this country are prone to be fooled everytime, =
decades after decades and that being in position of power and holding to =
the chair of influence give them the right to use dark tactics to keep =
masses under delusion. The officials who are governing our cities and =
those who are in league with the politicians all allowed to show by us =
their skill openly and we clap their plays everyday in the entire length =
and breadth of this country.
The truth is that an ugly, looting game is being played non-stop in =
secrecy by clever brains by wrongly using their intellects without =
regard to principles of justice, truths and fair play, law of ethics and =
rights of millions of people in our country. By their mismanagement of =
society and a common man is paying for their wrong deeds. The dirty =
games of politicians and powerful officials in league with other few are =
assuming now an awful form from where it may not be possible to come out =
if we remain unaware and do not react now. The dragon of corruption =
reared up by us with our wits has become so dangerous and is inflicting =
punishment to masses by providing riches only to a few while the right =
to better living conditions to the rest of our countrymen are constantly =
being burried by those whom we instal in power and why have played for =
decades on public and do not want any such systems that will provide the =
rights to millions and expose their hidden agendas. So the intiative has =
to be taken up by us.
The wonder is how the country is dead to so gross denial of the rights =
of millions of people, threatened by the bleak future, though not a =
party to this game being enacted and played all over by just a few =
hundreds.
This raises issues- how on moral ground and how, while advocating =
service to the nation, society, their pledge to serve the human rights =
these leaders can remain so ignorant so as to cause grievous harms to a =
billion people in this country ?
It is beyond the slightest shade of doubt that judged by standards of =
managing communities the acts of politicians and all governments have =
remained criminal towards a common man and no argument or logic can =
defend which is un-defendable till the end and it is just a waste of =
energy and time to whitewash what is just a heinous crime. It will be =
odd to make this a debateable issue when we all know what the truth has =
been and the acts of our leaders and governments would meet only =
contempt and condemnation from law abiding ninety percent of the =
population of our country.
Let us tell them that they are living in a dream land and masses are =
awakened to ask them the account of all their deeds done in the past and =
being done now on day to day basis. these leaders are servants but do =
you see them serving the societies. They sit like lords in their palaces =
and meet only their chosen racketeers. No normal citizen of India can =
even see them except during elections when they set the stage of begging =
your votes. This is our presence around them in thousands that makes =
them swell more when lots and lots of crowds cheer them standing on both =
sides of the road on when they hapen to see them in a public meeting.
One powerful collective blow of the masses is enough for those who are =
in power to awaken in shock or to quit. Those who count on their power =
position and numbers live in the land of dreams and will be first to =
reap the fruit of their revolt against the duty not done for people and =
shall pay forfeit with their robes and gowns, for such a murderous =
frenzy may soon grip the crowds that they will stop at nothing and may =
rise in rebellion against the few in power who will be out-and-out at =
once end and expose their dirty games of deception, frauds and =
corruption happening right under their nose, in all departments =
throughout the length and breadth of India.
The pregnant mothers, crowing babies and toiling hardworking simple =
honest folks who are contended and delighted to be moving and alive, are =
all being looted constantly of their rightful better tomorrow, their =
economic social rights for no fault on their part, no sin, no wrong, no =
action done to merit such a poverty ridden fate and continued abject =
poverty conditions lived through generations. They all have been =
cheering loud the ruling teams whenever they chanced to pass their way =
or when they saw their leaders in a gala function held to listen the =
words that they had to say, without least knowledge of their hid designs =
or actions or what they intend to do. A state of trust unparallel in =
our country but returned often from other side alone and sometime repaid =
with treachery by those adorned.
If majority in this country has upheld this kind of treatment by =
politicians and often worshiped leaders that we chose to empower and =
remained silent to watch with hope and desire for an end to the miseries =
of millions of Indian families, simple, honest, hardworking, women, =
children, men.it does not mean that it is not a heinous crime.and if in =
India we continued to uphold a way of life which contravenes The Natural =
system of governance defying all rules of compassionate and governance =
born out of love and fair justice, that does not mean that the those of =
us who uphold such an injustice are right in their behavior, in the =
least or true to their profession or belief. If all in India uphold =
ideals which confer equality on one and all with liberty and brotherhood =
and then to enforce these high ideals put to dogs and looting and =
plundering by just a few,year after year, the rights of millions to =
fulfill their own self-interests from the public money it does't mean =
that it is not a crime towards society for which they are accountable =
and answerable. But be it Chara Ghotala or Bofors Ghotala just to name a =
few there are thousands of cases where we have never seen a powerful =
person of a politician and a leader being booked in Jail. Do you =
remember any such case. This is the status of judiciary in our country!.
This is what ails Indian mind today. We are unable to perceive the ugly =
darker side of our behavior or our thoughts or acts and have continued =
to ignore the errors and as if one pets its sweetheart, hug its faults, =
justifies mistakes, waives off sins.to keep merry all the times, shows =
erosion of moral side. One has made a white lie, a passable norm, a =
practice which is condemned by every faith is today honey to the =
sophisticated mind!
The outcome is that of the leading brains the bulk delights in what it =
thinks or does and often views an action, even if wrong, in the light of =
its broader interest or of the high position which it holds, judging not =
by the criteria laid nor by any standards fixed for what is right but =
only its interests and objectives, aims or the nature of the expediency.
Since moral values are essential for safe growth of communities, we =
think that it will be a virtual suicide to break the wall that stands =
between us and sure anarchy. Actions done by the leading politicians of =
our country today and also by the policy makers and their advisers, =
unless restrained by strict adherence to moral laws will even more =
jeopardized the growth and the justful rights of millions to enjoy a =
better economic status and a conducive environment in society for an all =
round growth.
The present situation of our country is a a warning sign and we appeal =
to all people in India to provide active help and support if you endorse =
the views expressed in this letter. Every citizen of this country is in =
an excellent position today as he or she is not alone and soon we shall =
be greater in numbers to ask them and urge our leaders to change their =
ways. We are on a suicidal path if we fail to check the present trend =
here and now. Sanity can never become so mad to walk into jaws of =
deprivation and degradation of its rights and wealth.
I have visited places and many villages in India and I tremble to write =
the horrible conditions they are subjected to live. Life of those living =
in cities is not better either. Our cities were made a showcase window =
for the rest of the world by the policies of our planners but 80 percept =
of India continues to live year after year in unimaginable conditions =
of dearth, scarcity and poverty. Our policies that are pasted on the =
back to provide for provision of illigle money to selected few have =
created an illusion of glitter in our cities that is resulting in a wild =
stampede, more than the frantic rush in which weaker are continuously =
being crushed. Why, dear friend, why we maintained our balance, kept =
wits in this macabre and mind hinging scenes unfolding today which are =
beyond our power to handle. Thanks to our leaders and policy makers who =
cared for their own interest rather than providing any lasting solutions =
to scores of social problems.
Those who complacently talk of social problems, that are making our =
country stinking hell, while lolling in their chairs, with pen in hand, =
smoking as if they are the lords of this earth and looking calm and =
undisturbed and while they speak on unspeakable course of social reliefs =
to masses as a routine matter, however accomplished and holding to =
whatever position of power on this earth are hopeless prey to the =
abnormal state of intellect.which barren of compassion and like color =
blind.have no sense of the pain involved.
So, dear friend, let us join for the sake of our country. With the =
talent and resources available we can make this a paradise on earth and =
again, with best of goods and wares available, rich in technology and =
other marvels. And it is, you my dear friends who can do this =
collectively in a planned manner but nothing can be achieved if we leave =
things on our leaders and the governments. I request you to kindly ask =
all other friends to support our collective progams and arrange basic =
start-up funds. Let us gather millions upon millions as volunteers in =
every block, village,town and city of our country to make a nation wide =
chain of India rebuilders who would put pressure and run effective =
activities that will help humanity a further lease of life. Leaders =
should now bend a little low to listen our phobic lot! The only potent =
and honorable way out to resolve this crisis and a hard dilemma, in our =
views is work on target oriented programs in making.=20
Let January 2003 be the month of nation wide compaigns and smaller =
effective meetings everywhere to choose our team leaders in every =
community who shall contribute to form a National Coordination Commitee =
and work out other structures of our mission. Let us Key-up and Tone-up =
people every where in India. Together, with one mission born out of =
compassion and service to the communities, we can achieve better results =
in a short time that have defied their vision through our leaders even =
during last 57 years of our gaining independence.=20
Our plans and programms will find solution to peaceful living of people =
in diverse faiths. They shall live in peace, friendship, love, trust and =
progress coming their way. Let us remember that action born out of good =
intentions and hope will dispell the despair looming large on our =
communities. Grace of Allmighty God will shine upon us when we march =
together, hand in hand, to bring a bright sunshine of progress and good =
