Friends
I was involved when IMC India was being set up but have not been active with
IMC India for over a year. Each IMC is supposed to have an editorial policy.
Some have editorial policies saying 'no censoring, whatsoever' - they claim
that the comments section of every posting is there for concerned folks to
counter claims. Others have had policies of 'no hate mails' or 'nothing that
is homophobic or racial... etc'.
I cant remember whether the india-imc ever came up with a policy. Amudhan
would be the best person to respond to this. My feeling was that it decided
'no hate mail'. I think that would be the basis to hide some of the postings
- some that are seething in hate against certain individuals or those that
claim that the bombings were just desserts (interesting that this discussion
did not notice the latter).
Given my brief interactions with Amudhan and the madurai collective, I think
they are a small group that is perhaps overwhelmed right now. However, I do
not see why any one collective or individual must claim all access to
india-imc. If folks are interested in joining in to help, I think that
should be welcome to the Madurai collective. I do look forward to a response
from Amudhan.
One last point: When india-imc began, it was hoped that it would spawn off
other imcs within india - mumbai imc for example. I still do hope that
occurs.

Regards
Sanat
