dear all,
this is to register my deep disturbance at the kind of hate being spewed out on the IMC-India website. its a disgrace that a progressive tool such at the indymedia list has been taken over by fascists and the right wing. 
 
i seriously suggest that more ppl are allowed into the collective so that those who want to edit the newswire and write news items can do so. if those who initially took up the task feel disinclined to do so, i would be more than glad to help. but this kind of junk on the website has to be stopped if the IMC-India website is to have any kind of credibility.
 
 i assume i dont have to point to instances of hate speech on the website. just go to the site and look at the newswire section, more than 75% of the posts are anti Muslim and right wing and are often at odds with the main articles. 
 
most disturbingly some of the posts call for the rape and murder of prominent activists. it's time we stepped in and saved Indymedia India. Please do your bit or else hand it over to those who want to.
