Dear Harsh,

I agree with you that it seems that some people within
Indymedia are censoring pro-secular articles.

I am also concerned at the increase in acrimonious
exchange on the newswire, where pro- and anti-Hindutva
activists are engaged in naming people and listing
their addresses, apparently in an attempt to encourage
a campaign against these individuals. I fear this
newswire is simply becoming what is known as a "flame
war" and is rapidly losing its usefulness. See:

We cannot have a situation where people, whatever
their political background, are systematically
intimidated by these threats. This is a news forum for
progressive activists, not a war and not an exchange
of hate.
