your above line with capital letters and lines constitutes
a very long and loud scream in e-mail etiquete. so please, avoid it on this
list. screaming on each other will get us nowhere.
we replied to butch promptly.

in case you missed it. we wrote there what the next steps should be.
not sure where your assumption that we will create an email
list for you came from. we never said that, nor that anyone
can set up a london-wg nested group to work.
we did state, and will continue to do so, that people
have right to volunteer for indymedia under terms they choose
with working practices they think suit them best.
london working group isn't set up so that anyone can do anything.
it's set up so that a few of us who started it create a framework
for ourselves to get work on Indymedia done, and to enable
others to get involved through the same framework if they are happy to do so.
If not, no problem.
by framework, i mean set of functional principles (working practices)
and other documents that helps us in work and minimize frustrations.
you can find a link to our constitution (charter) here
http://uk.indymedia.org/lwg.html where we state:
> 1) Imc-lwg or any of its nested groups are open to anyone who agrees
> to work according to these principles
we believe that this is clear.
If you wish to work in your own way, we can only encourage
you to start your own working group, and then we can
talk further about collaboration.
if you want to start your own working group,
you can take imc-london-wg as an example,
or you can have a look at the imc-uk collective
as another one. as well, there are many global
and local working groups using lists.indymedia.org.
you can see there how they work and collaborate.
i hope this clarifies what we are trying to do
and how we can be of some help to (amongst many others) you
if you wish to volunteer in Indymedia.
thanks,
toni
