hello
i have recently graduated a media studies degree in London and i am very 
interestred in your cause.  I have studied the media for 5 years now and 
originally, with good intentions, i wanted to make documentaries and short 
films inspired by people like Hegedus, Pennebaker and John Grierson.  It did 
not take long for me to discover people like Althuser, Marx, Chomsky, Pilger 
et al and i soon realised the true agenda of the mass media.  As well as the 
egocentric competition in the vocational aspect i soon give up my dream by 
promising myself to never 'sell out.' 
However, in my final term i began to write reflective essays about my notion 
of the 'future role of the media student' and this was pretty much what i 
have just read in your mission statement and work ethos.  It could be a 
coincidence (or not) but i firmly believe that i can help your organization 
in some way, you could certainly help me and i would love to volunteer with 
your London community.

I casually joined the socialist group when i was at university and i have 
attended numerous rallies and events so i share your ideology and consensus.  


I would love to hear about your gatherings and projects maybe we can work 
together, i really hope so.  I would like to replace my genuine apathy with 
something constructive!
