GREAT COMING EVENTS
The most thrilling, the most glorious truth in all the world is the Secong
Coming of Jesus Christ. Today as we look about us we see pessimism on every
side: but the Bible is the only Book in the world that predicts the future.
Thus the Bible is more modern than tomorrow's newspaper. The Bible accurately
foretells the future, and the Bible says that the consummation of all things
shall be the coming again of Jesus Christ to this earth.
No man knows the time of the coming of Christ. It may be next year, it
may be tomorrow. No one knows. Jesus said that He didn't know. The angels
don't know. Only God knows the hour and the time of the coming of Christ
Jesus back to this world again. But Christ did leave certain signs, and He
said, " When these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up
your hands; for your redemption draweth nigh." Luke 21:28. I sincerely
believe if I can study the Scriptures write and read current events, that we
are living in the latter days. I believe that the coming of the Lord draweth
nigh.
Jesus said, " But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of
the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were
eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until tha day that Noe
entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them all
away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the
field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be
grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left." Matthew
24:37-41.
The leaders of the Church believe in the Second Coming of Christ. John
Wesley said, " The spirit in the heart of the true believer says with earnest
desire, ' Come Lord Jesus.' " D. L. Moody said, " I never preach a sermon
without thinking that possibly the Lord might use that sermon to call out the
last of the saints who sould go to make up the full number of God's elect and
to bring about the Lord's coming." Dr. G. Campbell Morgan, the great British
Bible teacher, said, "I never begin my work in the morning without thinking
that perhaps He may interrupt my work and begin His own. I am not looking for
death. I am looking for Him."
You say, " Well, how is Jesus going to come? " The Bible says in
1 Thessalonians 4:16,17, " For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven
with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and
the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall
be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
Do you know Jesus Christ? Are you ready for His coming? Thanks be unto
God, the real Ruler of the world is going to be Jesus Christ, and then shall
men know war no more. You can know Christ and regn with Him, if, as a guilty
and condemned sinner before a holy God, you open your heart and let Him in at
this moment.
" God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we
shall be saved from wrath through Him." Romans 5:8,9.
" He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by
Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them."
Hebrews 7:25.
A GUIDE
TO THOSE WHO ARE LEFT TO GO THROUGH
THE GREAT TRIBULATION
AFTER THE RAPTURE
OF ALL BORN AGAIN BELIEVERS
MANY true Christians are deeply concerned about those who will be left to
suffer in the "Great Tribulation" after the Lord Jesus Christ has called His
own to meet Him in the air. This meeting is referred to as the Rapture.
We do not believe in a second chance, but we do believe that salvation
will be offered until death. The opportunity of salvation during the
tribulation is merely a continuation of the present opportunity now offered
to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour. Faith in the atoning work of
Christ is the only hope for a lost humanity, sold under sin, either before or
after the rapture.
The message is especially for those who are left in the Great
Tribulation
( Matt.24:21), and its object is to bear witness that the Scriptures teach
that even yet many will be saved by giving their lives as martyrs (Rev.
7:13,14), and will escape the final doom of the Eternal Lake of Fire (Rev.
20:15).
TO THOSE WHO ARE LEFT
THE GREAT EVENT foretold in the Holy Scriptures (The Bible) and which is
believed and taught by the evangelical and true blood-bought body of Christ
concering "the rapture of the Church of the Living God" from this earth to
glory HAS TAKEN PLACE. Both the living believers and the dead in Christ ( who
have been raised from the dead) have benn caught up to meet the Lord in the
air, in accordance with the following Scriptures:
" For this we say unto to you by the word of the Lord, that we which
are alive and remaine unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them
which are asleep.
For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the
voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ
shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with
them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with
the Lord."
(1 Thessalonians 4:15-17).
Now that the True Church (all believers and followers of the Lord
Jesus Christ) has been taken from the earth, the [powers of Satan will have
full sway and a teriible, indescribable tribulation will take place during
which the inhabitants of the earth (Jew and Gentile) will suffer much.
To live for Christ now, under the reign of the Anti-christ and confess
Him as your Lord and Saviour that you might escape the eternal dammation of
hell will cost you your very life. But Salvation is still promised to those
who endure to the very end. (Matthew 24:13).
Those who are saved out of the Great Tribulation are described in Rev.
7:14 as having "washed their robes, and made then white in the Blood of the
Lamb." Your robes are stained with UNBELIEF, WORLDLINESS, PLEASURE-SEEKING,
and OTHERS SINS. Seperate yourself unto God absolutely, and seek cleansing by
repenting of your sin and believing in the Blood of Christ which was shed on
Calvary for the remission of sin. (John 3:16).
"For whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved."
(Romans 10:13) Study your Bible earnestly while you have it, and memorize as
much as possible before it is taken from you.
The Anti-christ will be the Great World Dictator, and compel men to
bear his Mark, and to worship him and his image.
REFUSE the MARK, and REFUSE TO WORSHIP THE ANTI-CHRIST or his image at
any cost. (Rev. 13:15-17). It is far better to suffer for a little while now,
and soon to be with Christ, than to escape suffering by yielding to the Beast
ans suffer the torments of Hell forever.
(Rev. 14:9-12). Be a good courage. Hold fast to the Word of God. Be kind to
the Jew. "He that shall ENDURE utno the end, the same shall be saved"
(Matthew 24:13).
This article is written as though the Rapture had taken place and the
Lord had called His own out of this world. Perhaps even now as you are
reading this message, the Rapture is history, and you are left. Look to Him,
Jesus Christ, for strength and the courage to suffer for Him, for He suffered
for you even unto death. The Bible bears testimony that during this period
you can neither buy nor sell, without the mark of the Beast,and this will
bring great suffering and certain death to those who refuse the mark, AND HE
THAT RECEIVES THE MARK IS ETERNALLY DAMNED, AND THE WRATH OF THE LIVING GOD
ABIDES ON HIM.
"If thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus Christ (as
Saviour), and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the
dead,thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9).
Whether the RAPTURE has taken place or is still in the future when you
read this message, REPENT OF YOUR SIN AND ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST NOW as your
personal Saviour, by believing that He died and shed His blood for you.
Suffered wholly to Him. Diligently watch and pray, and witness for Him until
He comes.
(Luke 21: 34-36). Read John 3:16 and 3:36, and Acts 17:30.
GOD'S ONE WAY TO SAVE SINNERS
"Not by the work of righteousness which we have done, but according to His
mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy
Ghost; which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour."
(Titus 3:5,6).
No other way - John 14:6
No other foundation - 1 Corinthians 3:11
No other name - Acts 4:12
No other entrance - John 10:1
No other atonement - Hebrews 9:12, 28
No other saving power - Romans 1:16;
John 6:44.
No other Gospel to be preached - Gal. 1:8,9.
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved."
