hi martyn,
if you're interested in colaboration, i can think of interesting one:
why not to use Indymedia Network as a news provider for resonanceFM.
* Indymedia Network - news radio feed *
http://www.indymedia.org newswire is a collection of featured stories
all over the world. resonanceFM could use those without additional
editorial work on it, i think. indymedia could generate automaticaly a
file, on a daily basis (few times a day if it takes). the voice could be
computer generated. all you're left with is to play this file. if you
have a computer run scheduler, then this could be automated too.
the idea is inpired by http://www.spamradio.com which streams
email spam with computer generated voice.
i don't know right now how long would it take to get out indymedia feeds
ready, but if resonanceFM is interested we can meet up. i would need to
look at the way your studio is setup, but in general, what i described
above is definitely possible.
let us know if you're interested, and if you need a short presentation of
the idea to be done, i can come to the studio and do it.
if there's a mailing list where editorial of resonaceFM is discussed or
any other lists where people who run the station are at, feel free to
forward this mail to it. i could discuss it further there if needed too.
in solidarity,
toni

ps. i used to do experimental music and it's super kool that there's a
station devoted to it. is there any chance of you radio licence being
extended on a more permanent basis?
