To Indymedia London,

My name is Lars Eriksen, and I am a journalism student
at the London College of Printing.

As part of my degree course, I am currently working on
our student newspaper, Back Hill Reporter, involved in
developong our online site.

We want to improve the profile of the online site, and
my contrubution is to do a speical features series on
the state of online journliasm and the possiblities of
new media and value based networks in relation to
journalism. 

I am also writing a dissertation on online journalism 
- more specific an analysis of the throughts of
Marshall McLuhan in relation to the possibilities of
new media in journalism.

I hope that it would be possible to meet up with
somebody from Indymedia to do an interview about these
subjects. 

Our college prides itself on being at the forefront of
new media and communications, and I therefore believe
it's invaluable for media students to get a
professional's opinion on not only the state of new
media, but also the qualifications that are going to
be the key to the future.
