looks much much better to me that the current site does!

here's a feedback: 'news areas' corner should reflect in the design
that they do belong to certain groups. maybe with colors,
so that everything that goes under UK (like Hackney) has
simmilar, slightly more pale shade of the same colour,
or to look at the solution like news.bbc.uk.
i personaly prefer simple color scheme, athough it completely
depends how is it done when using color, not color vs no-color.

menues that i've done long time ago are on-line as well, somewhere on
indymedia.org.uk, but i can't remember where, so i'll put them somewhere
else this time ... so that you can see how they work.
