That's really nice IMHO.

Btw, I was going to complain about the white-on-black text of the
current site, after a partially sighted person told me they couldn't
read it even though they could read the same size text in
black-on-white.  So I'm pleased to see that change.

Another site I like the look of is http://www.indymedia.ie/ (Ireland).

I like your design with the long list of international sites at the
bottom more, that's really clear and its great to see the left bar used
for extra features.

I'm also impressed at just how much more text you've got into the
central column, without it appearing cluttered.
