Hello all,
Please read this :)
As many of you know, the Open Circle Arts Group is organizing a week of =
events from the 6th to the 15th around the Kala Ghoda area and at other =
places around Bombay promoting communcal harmony and peace and also =
protesting against the recent carnage inflicted in Gujarat in the name =
of religion.
The people at Open Circle have got some great ideas and are doing some =
kickass things! You can check out the details of the events they're =
organizing at http://www.opencirclearts.org . There's some great ideas =
and some great events, but for it to really be a success, and get the =
message across, we NEED EVERYONE TO HELP and be a part of this thing!
The events run till the 15th of August, theres performances, poetry =
readings, plays, art exhibitions, movie screenings, and two concerts on =
the 14th and 15th! People are needed to be around, help around, =
popularize the events, sell tickets for the concerts, etc.
What you might be able to help out with:
1. Desperately need as many people as possible to popularize the =
concerts on the 14th and 15th and also sell passes. Proceeds will go =
towards Gujarat relief.
2. Also need at least 30-40 people to help out during the concerts.
3. For the other days, need people to man computer consoles set-up to =
promote awareness, help out during the soap-box performances at =
Churchgate station at Kala Ghoda, put up posters in their =
localities/colleges, etc.
4. Just need people to come, be a part of the event, tell their friends, =
spread the message!
If you think you are able to help out with anything, however small ... =
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do get in touch at the EARLIEST.

in helping out, or knowing more aboout whats going on:

If you've been disturbed by the kind of nonsense thats been going on in =
this country in the name of religion and power politics, PLEASE do get =
in touch and help out with this thing, in whatever way, little or large, =
that you are able to. All help is greatly appreciated and desperately =
needed!
If you are unable to help out, it would be great if you could come and =
check out the events going around - do check the event schedule at =
www.opencirclearts.org and please do come for anything that might =
interest you.
I do hope we hear from lots of you guys and do hope that lots of you can =
