[IMC Bombay] Postering for Indy Utsav: Volunteers Needed!

Dear Bombay IMC network:

Insaaniyat needs help putting up posters in colleges, stations, and 
other public places for their Independence Utsav on 15 August 2002. 
There are separate Hindi and English posters, and they are at the 
PUKAR office at 4th Floor, Kitab Mahal, D.N. Road, next to New 
Excelsior Cinema, near VT Station.

Independence Day is only four days away, so time is of the essence! 
Call for your poster now! Please contact me at the PUKAR office at

them sent to you.

INDEPENDENCE UTSAV
Celebrating freedom, peace and diversity
15 AUGUST 2002 at Mahatma Phule School Hall, Dadar (W)

3-4 pm: children's hour
* exhibition of children's paintings on peace, diversity and friendship
* workshop on the theme of freedom

Open to all children from ages 6-14. Admission free. Children, bring 
your pictures, come with your parents and friends!


4.30-6.30 pm: songs, poems, plays
* Sambhaji and group--Marathi poems and songs
* Vikalp Natya Manch--street play
* Navjanwadi Sanskritik Manch--songs
* Dharavi youth group--skit
* Aavhan Natya Manch--songs

7.00-9.00 pm: more!
* Chetan Datar and group--performance of Manto stories
* Neela Bhagwat--songs of Kabir and contemporary poets

go straight along Ranade Rd, turn left at Gokhale Rd, and right at 
Babrekar Marg--there's a petrol pump at the corner. The school is on
