I recall seeing some hesitation from IMC somewhere abroad regarding
the type and extent of alliance needed for a group like IMCMumbai.
However, if this point is cleared up, it is a very simple matter to
identify the editor used to make the pages, and then either download
template pages from whichever branch of IMC created the mother site,
or just make a fresh set of templates in a suitable editor. After
this creating the new site as a stylistic mirror of the original is a
relatively minor matter.

Maintenance of the site is another problem entirely. A proper chain
of command is needed, to ensure that matter put up on the site is
approved as representative of the ideals for which the group has been
formed. Also a fairly available machine is needed, to archive the
site. A backup archive is desirable, so that the content is properly
preserved. Finally, if the data is needed to be updated in real time,
it is better to keep the actual content in a database, preferably in
a separate machine, which is linked to the web server. It is amazing
how quickly a well-stocked site can run away from you.

[sorry for earlier mailing this directly to PUKAR-Monsoon only]
