[IndyMedia Bombay] MEETING PREPONED on Saturday, Web Site UP!

Dear IndyMedia network:

We are having a meeting this coming Saturday at the PUKAR office. 
THIS MEETING WILL BE AT 3.30 P.M., NOT 5.00 P.M. AS EARLIER 
ANNOUNCED. We plan to go the Blew Note Film Club screening at  Indus 
@ The Hotel Diplomat afterwards at 5.30 P.M.

We urge all of you to come to see the version of the Bombay IMC site 
that we have up at http://mumbaidada.bandwidthcoop.org/. You can also 
start uploading/open publishing anything you want to the site right 
now. And, once our registration with the IMC network goes through 
further discussions with Boud and others, we will change our URL to 
http://bombay.indymedia.org/ and be listed in the global list of IMCs 
on the main indymedia.org sites. As Boud has written, our responses 
to the Membership Criteria are being discussed on the New IMCs list, 
e-mail <new-imcs@indymedia.org>.

We also want to discuss points in Boud's e-mail, including:

1. Editorial policy.
2. Decision-making policy.
4. Discuss ways to do further outreach and networking with other 
groups, collectives, colleges, movements.
5. Discuss projects being worked on, solicit ideas for more projects.
6. Set up an editorial group and perhaps other working groups like a 
tech group, project working groups. Also discuss regular scheduling 
of IMC Bombay meetings and venues for these meetings.
7. Get introductions of members of the IMC Bombay to send to the 
global IMC network.
8. Talk about upcoming events through Open Circle (8-14 August), 
PUKAR Monsoon (26-31 July, 30 August), Insaaniyat (17-18 August), etc.
9. Talk about setting up separate lists for an IMC news-wire, IMC 
organisational discussion, etc.
9. Whatever else anyone wants to talk about.
