Kathmandu IMC. We have been going through the process for some time,
and are getting some feedback from the Indymedia pros on what is
necessary to register with them. But we have still not produced any of
the documents that they require. At the moment we are wondering about
some of the logistical questions, like finding a kind of base, getting
people to give up enough time and getting some money for things like a

involved when you started getting an IMC going Mumbai? And how many

to get financial support from anywhere? Where do you work from? What
kind of contact and support are you getting from the Indymedia
guys?</font></blockquote>

the situation in Nepal, we are really concerned to get something going
as soon as possible. There are real problems here with access to
information about the conflict and there is no independent forum for
news. All the people involved are Kathmandu based and the indymedia
guys have been making lots of important points about representation,
so we are trying to get together people from different groups and
sections of society. It would be really good to hear any advice you
can offer on organising a group; and any important lessons you learnt
from your experiences.</font></blockquote>
