hi mumbaiwallahs,
There are more than 200 subscribers on the imc-mumbai list, but
it seems you are no longer having face-to-face meetings! Maybe
i'm wrong, but i'm a little worried...

Please remember that Indymedia is supposed to be non-hierarchical.
This means that anyone is welcome to propose a date/time/place for a
meeting. If everybody just waits for other people to become active, nothing
will happen.

But if many people each make proposals, and there is consensus type
discussion (and maybe, or maybe not, decisions?) about each of them,
then many things will happen.

If only 10% of list members come along, that's about 20 people,
which is already plenty for discussing how you want to organise
IMC Mumbai, how to get people interested in providing content
to participate...

Maybe developing a print edition, e.g. with \LaTeX and pdflatex
(ask a local GNU/Linux geek to help you out - any standard
GNU/Linux distribution should have these - but apparently you
can also install them on Micro$oft), would be a good project,
since printed editions are likely to be more useful to many
people than the internet version. We're starting on print
editions here at IMC PL.

Hope these comments are useful...

PS: your website is up and running, though it probably needs
maintenance, such as contact info, meetings info etc...

PPS: i like the central column feature about the CII meeting :)
