hi kfk, everyone on the india lists,
sanjay wrote to me offlist and said he has problems with email
and uploading stuff to both IMC Mumbai and IMC India...
He's eager to have a global indy feature, and IMHO he's right.

started with a lamp lighting and
narrative by Miyoko Matsubara, a Hibaksha (survivor of the nuclear
bombing of Hiroshima), who went on to detail the consequences of the
bomb and the challenges faced by its survivors. Most of the speakers
agreed that US economic and foreign policy was a threat to humanity.
The

Conference on Social Rights</a> focussed on the alliances and
coalitions in a global context for the protection of rights to Food,
Education, Health and that of the marginalised people.
The final day of the ASF is Tuesday 7 January.
