just to let u know that after successful negotiations with the Govt of Mah., Medha will be breaking her 8 day fast to-day morning at a Sabha in Nasik.Further meetings are on the cards.Regular press release will follow - but i know how tense supporters are - so am letting u know.Now pray / ensure that there are no slips bet. the cup and the lip !!!

The Mah. CM still insists that he has not given permission for rise of dam ht to 100mts !!!!

  Scale" - a Film on Kutch Earthquake January 2001.

  Dear Sir/Madam,

  "Chords on the Richter Scale" a 45 minute film on post
  Earthquake situation in Kutch District, Gujarat state
  of India. Central Board of Film Certification, Mumbai
  has refused Censor certificate to the Film and banned
  the film for public exhibition a Press Conference is
  organized to give background of the film. And to
  condemn the Censor Boards decision. Film Maker - 
  Shyam Ranjankar and co - producer, Geeta Chawda and
  Ramesh Pimple will speak to the Press and Film will be
  screened to the press. Film maker Anand Patwardhan and
  noted sociologist Dr Uday Mehta will also speak to
  press
