Well, my own experience has been that only a very small fraction of
people participate in these lists. Given the fact that this proposed
list is a very purposeful one, I hope that whoever joins has come
there with at least the intention of participating, which is not true
of normal lists that are mostly full of lurkers. This is my
experience of the two indymedia lists too in India, though I do not
know how many members are registered, and I suspect also true of
other indymedia lists, judging from a few remarks I see on the irc
channel.
If we can get at least three or four people who will be part of
Indymedia WSF, whether from the Indian lists or from outside, I say
let's go for a specialist list.
