Our National Campaign against August Highland
August Highland is being heralded by literary critics as one of the writer=
s most likely to win the Nobel Prize in the coming years=2E This year he w=
as awarded the Leopold Bloom Prize=2E We urge you to ban the works of Augu=
st Highland and of the members of his two literary movements, "The Hyper-M=
illenium Fiction Group" and "The Worldwide Literati Mobilization Network"=2E=
These writers represent a real threat to our impressionable youth who are=
always looking for a new anti-culture hero to idolize=2E August Highland =
manipulates the English language and the Western literary tradition with p=
erverse methods which he veils with seductive imagery and marketing tactic=
s=2E He also uses software to contribute to the production of his work, a =
practice which we believe further undermines the principles on which good =
literature stands=2E But, above all, he is creating a new cultural force t=
hat is leading the minds of our nation's young adults away from the great =
books of the past as well as the modern classics=2E August Highland is ope=
ning the door to the sure collapse of American literature=2E
Please join with us in our campaign against August Highland=2E Do not publ=
ish articles about the author and his work=2E Do not grant the author inte=
rviews=2E Even better, become proactive and publish articles that harshly =
criticize the offensive writings and literary politics of the author=2E
