hi everyone,
seattle doesn't need to pay for this.
there is money that has been raised outside of the funds currently in
seattle or the global network that are earmarked specifically for a
second shipment of computers to south america. those funds are in
the imc urbana account right now and have been earmarked specifically
for a second shipment.
portland techies have a contact with a union that does shipping and
we may use their discount or we'll just rent a uhaul and use the
funds raised for the second shipment to pay for it.
also, i was under the impression that we could get ram from the folks
at accra in oakland. what's up with that evan or eddy?
i don't think we should be spending money if we have a source for
something that is free. and anything extra i think should come out
of the "underground computer project fund", that is what it's for.
as far as a thank you, i will leave that up to others. it seems like
a nice gesture.
