Ok, so here's the deal. I just talked to somebody from Quito. Judith i
think, she had a german accent.

The problem, as far as i can tell, is that the Bill of Lading states that
the container is going to ACET in Guayaquil. I think this is actually my
fault. I wasn't sure what to put and things were hectic when we were
sending things off.

I just called our frieght forwarder (the company that interfaces between
us and the actually shipping line) and he said that we can make an updated
change to the Bill of Lading. We can change the destination to Quito. We
will have to pay the couple hundred dollars for the truck to take the
container from Guayaquil to Quito but that's not that big of a deal. What
we need to decide if we're going to have the shipping company or us find
the truck to haul the container up to Quito.

If our only problem is that the city on the bill of lading is wrong then i
think we're in damned good shape. ;)

The updates for the bill need to be faxed directly to our freight
forwarder so he can make the chagnes.

I'm worried about what happens once the container arrives. This container
is big, 40 feet by 7 feet 6 inches by 7 feet 6 inches. It is TOTALLY full
of computers. When the drop it off normally you have two hours to unload
it. It might be possible for them to leave it for a few days, but that's
assuming you have some place to park it. There is not enough space in
street infront of the CONFEUNASSC to park this truck. I guess if you got a
couple hundred people you could create a passing line where you pulled
stuff out of the wrapped palletts in the truck and passed them down in to
the basement of confuenassc. Much better would be to get a pallett jack of
some sort and have a building which has a loading dock. They are all
wrapped up on a total of 20 palletts, 10 of monitors, 5 and a half of
computers, and the rest are cables, networking gear, clothing, and other
random things we threw in.
