It depends on how much the taxes are. If they are anything like what we
have feared would happen for Ecuador then we won't be able to pay them.
For Ecuador the worse case is that the taxes will be tens of thousands of
dollars. If we get stuck with big taxes then we loose the computers. If we
loose the computers then it's going to be much harder to get funders for
future shipments to other imc's/countries. There has got to be a way to do
without having to pay the taxes, the question is how.

For Ecuador we have budgeted $2500 for shipping and another $2500 for
vairous in country expenses. I expect we'll need to raise a similar amount
of money for the next shipment. Speaking of which, we should start that
process.

Rented. When it arrives you generally have 2 hours to unload it before
they take it away agian. I believe it's possible to have them leave it for
two days for us to unload if we pay more. The best way to do it is to get
some space at a warehouse with a loading dock and a palett jack so we can
unload them quickly.

I don't know the difference in import laws between Uruguay and Argentina.
Maybe we should look to sending teh container to montevideo if that will
be easier. The shipping costs for Brasil, Uruguay, and Argentina are all
the same.

yeah that's a big issue. But let's get the computers there and organized
first. Then we can come up with the principles by which we organize the
distro of the computers. If we don't get them there and through customs
without lots of taxes then we'll have nothing to fight over.
