Dear Friends,

FNB News is very grateful for all help and support provided by linefeed.org
and SF IMC. They have always been great to us but lately, after some moves
we started experiencing more technical problems (such as local chapters
database, uploading files or posting 2003 events to the calendar...) and we
are not able to fix them since we have no access to the server. We are not
ignoring these problems, we just can't fix them. Therefore, we are looking
for a server which would like to host us.
This site is completely run by volunteers as an information service for a
volunteer organization. We cannot provide much in return.
We have no exact statistics, but we know that this website has become a
well-known source of information regarding community service, peace activism
and especially homeless issues. We have received many emails asking for
information about local chapters or tips how to start new chapters in many
communities in just few months of our existence...

Therefore, we are asking good people to help a good cause and provide little
server space for FNB News. Please contact us for more info. The script we
run is sf-active.

Thank you.

for fnbnews.org

WWW.FNBNEWS.ORG was created to make available for everyone a network of FNB
activists and activities. By sharing news, stories, recipes, problems,
event listing, and information, activists can keep in contact and share
experiences and ideas. Completely interactive, there is a newswire and a
calendar, with the timely and important articles being pulled up to feature
stories. There is a section for FNB contact info for all known chapters as
well as categories for other activist and socially and politically related
news.

Help is needed in writing feature stories, keeping the calendar up to date
(by posting your chapter’s meeting/sharing days and times and other events),
putting together sections on the histories and activities of each local
chapter, food and nutrition information, and especially spreading the word.
If you or your would like to help in any way (whether it be writing a
feature story or a group history, posting literature, news, stories,
problems, questions, or events on the newswire, or even handing out flyers
at sharings and amongst other activists), please contact us at:
