Hi Folks,
I'm an Oakland volunteer with Project Infomed =
(http://www.cubasolidarity.net/ininfome.html), a group that fixes up =
donated computers and send them down to Cuba to be used by medical staff =
there. Anywho, I would like to join you guys some time to chip in and =
rub shoulders with people doing similar sorts of stuff to Infomed. I am =
reasonably experienced fixing up old Pentia and have installed a few =
Linux distros, though my knowledge of Spanish is extremely rudimentary. =
I'm pretty flexible time-wise, being ungainfully unemployed. Saturdays =
I tend to do my Infomed schtick at our regularly scheduled work day at =
our Oakland Army Base shop (Building S-85 off of Bataan Ave). Is there =
any other time slot where my presence wouldn't be too inconvenient to =
check out your folks' operation and maybe crank a screw driver for a few =
hours?
Solidarity Whenever,
Ed Biow
