hello folks
the following tentaitve plan for transfer of the ~13 palletes is
contingent on several unresolved issues noted below, and then noteed
again (marked with a "*?*" and the ["person"] i hope has the info to help
resolve the issue) within the context of the tentative plan
unresolved:
-can we have access to the north berkely accrc thurs morn to afternoon?
-can we get ~$100 to fund rental of van with tommy lift?
-any one with liability insurance to drive on thurs?
-can we use one of the accrc's pallete jacks at both the accrc and josh's
site?
-anyone know the width of the palletes?
-----thurs 3-6 @ ~9am *?* [chris] at the accrc in n.berkely-----
in the morning get van or flat bed truck 8'' x 24'' truck from "lewis
rents" in san landro for the day rental price of ~$100 *?* [evan/eddy].
someone *?* [anyone with] liability insurance and a drivers lisence will
drive the van to northberkely accrc.
using pallete jacks, we will load palletes on to the tommy lift of the
van. full van load will then transfer boxes to josh's warehouse in
oakland where we will unload palletes and place them using the borrowed
accrc pallete *?* [chris].
return to north berkeley accrc and repeat above step once more (or twice, *?*
[anyone] know the dimensions of the palletes.)
return van to san landro, get back credit card as deposit, drink beer.
----------------------complete thurs 3-6 ~3pm------------------------
once all the pieces fall into place, i will send out general request for
acouple folks to assist in the move, so please get back soon if you have
info to help resolve questions above (or other things i may be not
accoutning for)
thanks to micah for arranging deal with josh, and chris and folks of accrc
for providing computers and equip, facilities for install, and
extended storage space, and evan and eddy for all their efforts. look
forward to setting this baby seaward.
