YOU ROCK!!!!!

If i can possibly make it happen the costs for various shipping and
moving of stuff in the US will be covered. It's in the budget, and so
far we've collected a couple hundred dollars accrued from shipping
boxes from seattle to portland and la to oakland.

But, the situation with the money is a bit complicated. We may have a
little left over from the ecuador shipment, a couple hundred dollars. I
need to search for it... I think we got $800 in pay pal donations and
my memory is that we send down $500 of that money. Meaning that there
should be $300 in the imc-tech pay pal account tagged for the
tech-solidarity project.

If not, there the grant from open society institute (george soros) but
the money hasn't come through yet, AND the argentina imc has decided
he's an evil capitalist and if we use his money their reputation will
be ruined forever. So they are quite insistent none of the OSI money be
used for any of the computers they receive. So if we can possibly help
it i'd rather respect their wishes and not use OSI money for this.

There are some other sources of money. Either as we raise money to try
and cover the shipment we will be able to reimburse folks, or we could
go back to imc-tech which already formally agreed to provide a bridge
loan but which we turned out not to need up until now.

Let's see if there is some of the paypal money left, If not that the
easest would be if somebody was solvent enough to front the $100 for a
couple months and get reimbursed. If that's not possible, then i don't
know, we could go back to imc-tech and ask there.

Have you asked chris if we could rent / borrow the ACCRC truck?

in solidarity,
evan
