[imc-tech-solidarity] PROPOSAL - support us taking hundreds of pcs to south america

this is the proposal for a mini feature to put on the global page and to
be left on top for at least a couple of weeks, to try find funding for
the projects to bring computers to south amercia 
(i cc some protagonist so they can add comment and change this two
paragraph).
Tomorrow i will put a paypal link on the right wing column as well to
support this effort :))))

HELP US SUPPORT SOCIAL MOVEMENTS AND MEDIA MAKING IN SOUTH AMERICA!

Indymedia network is born with the aim of building tools for the people
protagonist of the struggles to tell their tale with their own voice,
words, images. As part of the effort to realize this objective indymedia
has actively involved people travelling all around the world sharing
ideas, experiences and skill, and trying to bring equipment and proyects
where the social movements needs them, as part of a cooperative effort
to support social changes and people's struggles.<br>
The last of these projects involves shipping aroung 250 computers to
<a href="http://argentina.indymedia.org">argentina</a>, <a href="http://uruguay.indymedia.org">uruguay</a>, <a href="http://brasil.indymedia.org">brasil</a> and <a href="http://chile.indymedia.org">chile</a>. To do this we need 7.000 U.S. $ that we decided to collect through self-financing.<br>
