Dear Comrades of indymedia solidarity.
I’m Sphinx from IMC-Ambazonia, imc.Germany and involved with the
preparation of the tour to Africa that starts this October in Spain
(http://imc-in-so36.net) . On the indymedia side of the tour we need
quiet a couple of hardware to help run the workshops and to hand some
to the comrades in Morocco who are in the process of organising an
IMC with support from imc-Madiaq folks who've visited and are supporting
them in the process.
This far IMC Madiaq folks managed to get a donation of some 15(about) PCs
from Amsterdam for the imc-Morocco project but we’re having trouble to
get these pcs down to Andalusia; from where the Madiaq comrades will
take the pcs to Morocco during the meetings-planned in Morocco as part of
the indymedia side of the tour to Africa . I’m writing to you about this
because at the last IRC meeting on the tour I volunteered to write to you and
ask for you to support the project with hardware.

Equipment needed
-We need material to run the workshops; I propose the following :
-A beamer
-10 computers
-Three video recording machines and a video editting machine. 100 video
cassettes.
-10 mini-disc recorder/audio recording machines. 200 pieces of mini-
disc/tapes.
-Three printers.
-10 small radio transmitters.
- 10 video cassettes of films made by other indymedia video working groups to
be used in screening .

Software needs
-We need to ask indymedia-tech to load the computers for use in the tour with
one of the many freesoftware Operating System.
-Need a portable version of an indymedia production system which allows
articles and other content to be published and produced on the computer
without internet connection.
-We need an easy to use audio editing program.
-We need an easy to use video editing program.
-We need an easy to use lay-out program.
