[IMC-Tech] a few questions

we in st. louis are about to submit the form to start up an indymedia here.  
i was wondering about a couple of things.  first-the form asks what 
resources we have to contribute.  is this asking for memory space for the 
server or actual computers to work on or what?  secondly we probably do need 
a little tech training for the that contact person (which may be me).  i do 
have knowledge (but no experience) of html and cgi and a little java but 
don't know php or perl.  next i was wondering how articles get into the 
middle main article section of the main imc site.  i assume the collective 
chooses which go in that section on the local level but i wasn't sure about 
the global level.  thank you.
